This has been a depressing month in the news. When events like those in Boston occur, the first question that comes to mind for most people is “what is wrong with our society.” It is easy to focus on the negative. Well March has just ended. About the only good thing I can say about March this year is that March Madness is in full swing and it’s been a good one so far. Even if you are not a fan of college basketball, chances are you’ve filled out a bracket and entered into a pool, if only for the chance to com- pete against someone at something and try to win. I hope this letter finds you all healthy, or at least on the road to recovery. It seems as though everyone I know has been sick recently. In our house we have had flu, stomach flu, and strep throat this month alone—got to love daycare. I have probably spent more time at the pediatrician’s office in Janu- ary than at court.
